Sitting on the ground in HFT

I wonder whether it is okay to shoot sitting on the ground in HFT with a short bipod, or I have to sit on a stool?

Might put down a water resistant pad first. No fun having a wet butt from finding a puddle the hard way.

I shoot HFT exclusively using a folding bipod and a bum bag.

I've loaded up my bum bag to be about 5" thick when I'm sitting on it. Those foam rings that pellets are packed for shipping - cut them up and they turn into great lightweight bag filling.
