I'm 40 but I'll laugh, thumbs up and watch anything that says lube.
Saw a video of a guy using a hydro sonic cleaner, which sounded like total bs but he was right there was so much lead dust and chunks in the pellets. He'd already sifted the stuff that could have been on the bottom of the tin.

I wonder if we are all going to start having cans of nitroglycerin at home to cryo treat the lead. I always thought a good side benefit of moving to pellet guns was that I stayed off all the govt watch lists not no more! Oh well.

I lube my slugs I make with what I use to swage them. Seems to work well.

I thought there barrels never fouled up and you never needed to clean them

Unless that .25 slug come on different diameters.. if they are only one size .. it doesn't work on a standard .250 barrels I have 3 .25 barrels 2 LW .. 1 TJ.. they will slide through without almost no resistance from side to side .. completely unusable . At least on my barrels

They make a .251 version.

I did not know that about slugs in general. What is the right silicone spray to use?

I also have about 30 unused packs of ZAN slugs that have oxidized. I would love to know the best slug lube to bring those back to life.

I'm not aware of any lube that will remove the oxidation.You may want to tumble them in media like walnut shells, clean and lube.

Why would I add lube to slugs that come lubed ?
NSA, H&N and Javelin slugs all come lubed .

.25 bore in a powder burner is .257 , 6mm/.244 , 6.5mm/.263

Good thing about the silicone lubes is low or no odor. Seems like silicone isn't the absolute best lube... had slightly less lead in the barrel with wd40 and similar products. Currently experimenting with dry moly D spray.

Next thing I want to try is uberlube.

Bill, I just wanted to say I really enjoy and look forward to tech Tuesday’s and feature Friday’s for the vids that you all at Skout put out, but on your next one, I dare you to come out, sit down, take your hat snd shoes off, put on sneakers and a sweater, as your going thru the tutorial on whatever, just like Mr Rodgers would.

Maybe even humm a tune as part of your presentation
