Skout Skout Epoch Problem

2 Skouts. So far I have had no issues with barrel changes. I have barrels I. .177, .22, .25, and .30. I have exchanged them many times. I have also noticed that I can remove a barrel for cleaning or maintenance and reinstall it with little or no POI change, which is welcome. I love the ability to remove/replace the barrel without tools or removal of the scope.
I may sound like an advertisement for Skout, I am just an advocate for what I have seen so far.
I have two Skouts also, my .22 is short, my .25/.30 cal has the long barrels. I can’t really use the larger calibers at home, so I may sell one.
As far as pulling the barrels, it gets easier as you figure the technique. I pull the ratchet knob about halfway up, stop depressing the button and wiggle the barrel free, easy peasy

Obvious that people are having problems removing there barrels not just one or two Iv been hearing this for a while .
I have five different barrel assemblies for my Skout Epoch, and NEVER have a hard time removing or installing the barrel. It's as simple as humanly possible...

As far as accuracy and reliability, I won the Airgun Oregon 100Y BR in early May 2024 with my .30 Skout (33 shooters) and shot the Skout on day 2 in the pouring rain for three hours at the EFT GP event there. No problems with water in the electronic gun.

Yes the SKOUT’s barrel is super easy to remove, I suggest you put your thumb on the furthermost edge of the release for leverage and for full clearance of the release.

I love the Skout I just keep getting leak after leak? I’m very tired of this, I hope no one has the issue’s I’ve had because it’s a super gun!
