Skout goes Tesla!

It is constructed completely of hard material.
PETG is what they use for water bottles, cosmetic jars, etc. It is a very tough and resilient material especially if loaded with reinforcement. I would have no concerns with it in this application. Its a good choice.

How do you feel about baffles? How about hair curlers and felt? Asking for a friend.
Why though should the sound and flow at the back of the moderator be the same as at the front? It didn't make sense to us either, thus the design adapts along its length to maximize sound attenuation at a given flow level while minimizing size and weight.

Carbon fiber in PETG adds rigidity at the cost of layer adhesion when 3D printing. It does look nice! I love carbon fiber PETG but tend to stay away from it if the application requires good layer adhesion. There are better suited materials with better layer adhesion such as ASA, HIPS, and CF Nylon. They are slightly harder to print but look great!

They slip into the stock skout moderator which means what do you do if you ever want to sell your skout ? How do you keep this system to use on another gun ? If you want to transfer your skout can with Tesla mod onto a 1/2x20 gun you need an adapter. All in all no offense to Skout but this is the last sound suppression device I’d buy in the industry. Just bite the bullet and get a donny adapter for Skout and buy one of the million good 1/2x20 moderators out there.

Still running my custom built "Cone Baffles" within the SKOUT LDC housing having been very happy with the noise mitigation & accuracy.
