Skout Sniper Slug - Official Release

I would rather say 3 milliseconds
The settings are programmed into the EPOCH screen and can be adjusted from 10-50 in increments of 1 in program mode. The valve and transfer port are very large relative to other PCP designs. It seems to work well with their valve and flow design. I believe the dwell in this case is how much LP air is let in over time thru the solenoid until the high pressure side over rides it to close the valve. I have also noticed that the LPR will follow the HPR up/down but can also be throttled down or up manually for specific tuning. My question would be if you have a higher LP setting should the dwell be decreased since you don't need as much due air, due to the higher pressure, to open the valve??

Lewis posted this picture below of the valve vs FX valve pin.

I understand that, but this cost more than many .22 PB ammo. Heck, slugs should be cheaper then pellets but there not cause we just accept that. Price it right and they will recover the cost by selling more quantities. I'm just not pulling the trigger on any of this for a quarter a shot. Hopefully the Zans will be promising...

This is my conundrum as well, I can get Ely Tenex for $.50 or a .25 slug for $.22 a round.

I get sub MOA all day with the apparation, can the Scout match it?

Hello y’all,

Question from new Epoch gunner from The Netherlands. Are the standard liners which come with the riffle strong enough to use the .25 slug, or does Skout have a heavy liner for the slug? I can’t find specifics in the webshop..
Thanks and grtz from Holland

Since the start, our goal at Skout Airguns has been to pursue perfection. This goal has been driven by the feeling you get when your projectile lands exactly where you want it on the target. We have spent countless hours on this pursuit, testing countless projectiles to achieve this goal. This is when we determined if we wanted perfection, it would have to be created. With the help of our friends at Corbin Manufacturing, utilizing their years of experience in bullet and die-making, we came up with the perfect harmony between barrel and projectile. We have had many industry professionals and competitive shooters involved in testing to determine the perfect diameter and grain weight to achieve amazing results. This process eliminates the need to try many different grain weights and diameters of slugs. Our slug barrels are all checked at 100 yards in our indoor range utilizing the Skout Sniper Slugs before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction! All Rifle or barrel purchases include a free tin of slugs! For more information please visit https://www.skoutairguns.com/skout-slugs. More content regarding the slugs will be up in the coming days and more calibers will be released soon!

At Skout we are always aimed toward the pursuit of perfection. Tins work, but do not provide proper protection for high quality ammo. Our new packaging keeps it separated to ensure the consistency needed for precision shooting!

Hey Daryl,
How is the production of the slug liners coming along?
Will they be available by the end of the month?
Thanks
Mike
Hey Mike,
My .25 caliber 34.4 1-23 twist is available now. My next slug barrel will be a .22 caliber 1-15.7 Lothar Walther barrel which should be here in a few weeks.
Hope that helps
