N/A SLAP slugs?

Has anyone tried the slap 25cal slugs in a p3 or hm1000x

I can’t get them to shoot out of a .25 RPB barrel.
They like to go FAST, with a higher twist barrel, they say 1:18 to 1:23 or so, they love my Mav .22 Compact with a 1:18 in the high 9's. The .25 out of my Mav 600 a bit over 1,000, ditto for my Raptor. Of all the slugs I've been trying the RMR's and the AEA's work the best. SORRY TYPO, my barrel is a 1:16.

Awful lot of debris in those hollow points. 1st thing that kinda jumped out at me in that picture. Quality control?
I run them through my ultrasonic cleaner then use a cone swab to get the balance of the flashing out. It's the only issue I have with them. I've played with the AEA slugs and....they work well....in my 25 yard back yard range. Haven't used them yet to splat ground squirrels at distance.

Hogkiller,,, you find any slugs for your Sapsan that give positive results?
I was wondering if the slap slugs did any good in your Sapsan

I can give them a try today, I'm pretty sure it's a waste of lead, can't get enough speed out of it but, what the heck, I'll take one for the team. I've tried other slugs in the distant past but they were heavier, I remember we were talking about it a long long long time ago.

Ok tested in my Sapsan, a very weak 740 fps. Much less than stellar results. Can’t get enough speed. It does well with the AEA PELLETS though. BUT needs to get up to 900 fps ideally. Both the 18.3 and 21.9 grouped well. In the low to mid 800’s, the pellets had a better seal, as expected. Edit: I can tell you that the .25 RMR 26gr work well, very well in my Mav. I TRIED them in my Raptor and they were good. I'm having really good luck with the AEA slugs, but the .22's are HEAVY, insanely so. I haven't had a chance to get the AEA slugs out to 100 yards yet for a real test but they do look very promising.

Got the Sapsan out a few days back and decided to start cranking up the hammer spring, running 21.9gr AEA's at a very respectable 900fps....color me shocked, I'm going to continue the experiment today, when I top out I'll have a rough idea of what the reg is set for. Of course it's sucking air like there is no tomorrow but such is life. I'll even toss in a few slugs for giggles but I'm not hopeful, will see. For those that don't know, I've made my hammer spring accessible so I don't have to remove the stock. It's living on the edge of disaster but.....that's how I roll.

thanks Ken, I was thinking about trying a tin of each .22 and .25,, the 25 is my Lothar Walter barreled SPA P15
and the 22 in my sapsan,, I will be watching
I have a 23" Lothar Walther barrel on my .25 P15 too and it loves Zan 28gr at 887fps, 49fpe. If you haven't tried them, you might want to.
