They like to go FAST, with a higher twist barrel, they say 1:18 to 1:23 or so, they love my Mav .22 Compact with aI can’t get them to shoot out of a .25 RPB barrel.
I run them through my ultrasonic cleaner then use a cone swab to get the balance of the flashing out. It's the only issue I have with them. I've played with the AEA slugs and....they work well....in my 25 yard back yard range. Haven't used them yet to splat ground squirrels at distance.Awful lot of debris in those hollow points. 1st thing that kinda jumped out at me in that picture. Quality control?
Hogkiller,,, you find any slugs for your Sapsan that give positive results? They like to go FAST, with a higher twist barrel, they say 1:18 to 1:23 or so, they love my Mav .22 Compact with a1:18in the high 9's. The .25 out of my Mav 600 a bit over 1,000, ditto for my Raptor. Of all the slugs I've been trying the RMR's and the AEA's work the best. SORRY TYPO, my barrel is a 1:16.
I can give them a try today, I'm pretty sure it's a waste of lead, can't get enough speed out of it but, what the heck, I'll take one for the team. I've tried other slugs in the distant past but they were heavier, I remember we were talking about it a long long long time ago.Hogkiller,,, you find any slugs for your Sapsan that give positive results?
I was wondering if the slap slugs did any good in your Sapsan
