Slavia ZVP

The Slavia ZVP a spring-piston. 177 break barrell pistol. Manufactured sometime in the mid 1950's to the 1970's made at Ceska zbrojovka armory in Brno. Czech Republic that was formerly Czechoslovakia. Many where imported to the USA. A fine functioning vintage air pistol that is well built. Reminds me of a Diana 5 with primitive sights.

Professor,
Very good review, thanks for taking the time for the close-ups. At first, wasn't impressed by the looks, after a while, though, it kind of grew on me, especially the wood grip. Accuracy was good after the first few shots, ended up grouping nicely. That front sight sure is tall, reminds me of the one on the rifle you just reviewed, must be a Czech thing. Nice having Blanco there, he barely reacts to the shots, wasn't even watching the target, he's a good companion. Keep up the important work, WM
