Sling mounting on synthetic stock Brocock Sniper

Searching the forum I have only found a few threads without final resolution on mounting a sling on a Brocock Sniper. Anybody have any experience they could share? On my stock there is an indentation at the rear that is presumably for a swing swivel screw-in stud (if the plastic is up to the rigors) and then for the front looks like maybe a picatinny sling mount would be most practical?

I no longer have mine, but I thought it came with a pic rail, maybe not. If not, I installed one, and a rear stud, worked fine.

Thanks elh102, did the sling carry on your shoulder ok and would you happen to have any old photos of it you could post? Looks like a short run from the pic rail to the buttstock compared to a what I am used to with a centerfire hunting rifle. I was looking a little more closely at the what I earlier called the rear indentation in the buttstock and it is actually a hole with what looks to be an unthreaded metal sleeve. Hopefully that sleeve is intended to provide some extra strength and grip for a screw in stud.

Yes. I use a two point sling on my Bantam Sniper HR for woods walking. I put a QD sling mount on the front rail close to the trigger guard and screwed a cheapo sling stud into the bottom of the butt end. Never had any issue with this setup. Synthetic stock holds up fine with the screw in sling stud. I’ve also had bipods mounted to the rail in front of the picatinny QD mount as well.

@Aimright You should be fine. I can’t recall if there was already a hole tapped for the sling stud. I bought my Bantam used. I do recall paying no more than $10-$12 for two screw-in studs. When I installed them I recall inserting a small steel rod through the sling stud to tighten it down so that the hole ran from side to side. In the process I cinched it down enough to cut into the small rubber washer placed between the stud and the stock. It didn’t cause any real problems. The washer just looks torn. I don’t remember how much I paid for the picatinny QD mount, but it was easy to find.

Here’s a photo of the picatinny to QD sling attachment

Where and how did it mount to the stock? Wouyld you have that pic?
@Dougie There is a small circle on the underside of the butstock where a sling stud can be screwed into. I bought mine used so it came predrilled if I remember correctly. I don't know if they arrive that way from the factory. See photos for sling stud placement on the underside of the butstock. Hope this helps.
