I have seen some Benjamin rifles with a sling bracket at the forearm. Does anyone know where I can get one of those, and can you tell me how they attach?
Well you can order one directly from Crosman and they attach to the connecting rod hinge pin at the foreend of the breech block and look like this.
I believe this is the part number and this came from the NP2 air rifle. A word of caution, not all air rifles have enough room between the connecting rod and breech block to slip one of these in there, others do so check your rifle to see if there is enough slack/free space in that area before ordering and also check to see if your hinge pin is about the same size as the holes you see here, for example my Weirauch HW30 has absolutely no open space to slip one of these in there and in that case I would have to use a barrel band type of sling swivel. If you are not adding this to a Crosman/Benjamin rifle then this may be a little hit or miss.
Thanks a bunch! That's exactly what I was looking for, and yes it is going on a Benjamin Prowler.
I have never screwed a lug into a synthetic stock, but I see there is a little flat spot that I assume is intended for one. Is there anything I need to know before I drill and screw one in? Do they hold ok in the plastic?
Here's what I have on my HW97K. Just measure the diameter of your barrel and get the correct one, they sell several different diameters. This is on the cocking rod, but works on barrel just a good (I had one on my R9)
