Does anyone know of a "regulator" or some device that squeezes the air coming from a carbon tank so that it's less likely to blast the air into the pcp so fast? The reason I put the word regulator in quotes is because I'm not trying for a metered amount that's the same bar but a slowed down stream of air.

Most of the bottle to PCP connections I use have a simple air flow restrictor built in.

You could remove the line from the valve and replace it with a fitting flow restrictor in it, and then add a connector on the end of the hose to use it that way. I've done this on a valve that flowed too fast for my likes and it works great. Something like this would work, but you'd have to make sure the threads are the correct ones.

Microbore hose & don't open tank valve all the way! That's the SIMPLEST solution. I've always controlled air flow with tank valve, even when I was a firefighter & trying to conserve air.

I have alway used "Valve Control" on my non flow restricted Jubilee Valves..
Just Slowly Crack open the Valve....Slow open until you get a flow rate you want!!
I never fast fill my bottles or airtubes.......
Btw, I also do this even on my Regulated Tank....
