Slynger targets

I was inspired at the PACup to try something new. I had these Air Venturi steel targets from Walmart but wasn't sure how to set them up. I took little block of wood ,drilled holes for a deep staple. I tied the chicken and pig to the block with waxed sail twine. Set the out at 20 and 30 yds respectively. I'll probably make individual blocks for each animal/yardage. It was fun to get started on the little steel targets.

I got 2 sets of those a couple years ago and never used them. I did, however, recently glue magnets to the bottom of each one. My thought was to stick them to a metal strip. I have strings attached so they're ready to go. Maybe this will inspire me!! Shooting season is almost over here in NY so if I don't do it now I prolly won't remember in the spring haha

You guys have basements up there, don’t yah?
Attics?
Garages?
We do but:
The basement is my only option but, because of its design, I can only shoot about 20 feet so that's almost pointless.
Attic is more of a crawl space.
Garage is detached, uninsulated, unheated with no windows. To shoot out the door(s) would be shooting toward the street.
Others may not have the same restrictions as me but I'm short on options. No indoor ranges nearby either.
Another option is to move south over the winter!!
