Small carbon fiber tank you find usable?

A 30 min tank not exactly small but check a lot of boxes for short shooting sessions and grab and go. Fill to 3500 psi and it will accommodate a ton of pcp'c with valve open and you are shooting from big reservoir.

A second to the 500cc bottle. Mine is a RTI that I changed out for a 300cc bottle. The valve and hose came from Airguns And Archery Fun in Canada. Easy to put in a small backpack and gives 2 to 3 top-offs with my RTI Compact that has a 200cc bottle. View attachment 528035
I saw some of those valves at airgun archery fun in Canada that I think said that they had adjustable regulator in them.. that would be really handy for filling gun to a lower pressure than the bottle, seems like it would be safer especially if your bottle is like 4500 psi and you gun was only like 3000 psi..
also I suppose you could shoot around the same amount tethered..
did you get one with the regulator built in?

I haven't seen the regulated ones recently, I wonder if they were a passing thing..I also didn't see any large tanks, because he used to have larger ones with or without regulator and I had even saw her had the scba tank used refurbished.. but not the last time I looked.

I second this. I purchased an eight foot 5k psi line so the tank is not crowding me when tethered.

Guppy or Benjamin..
If you are going to fill the bottle yourself, save yourself a LOT of money and get a CE tank on AliExpress.
Tuxing, Alsafe and Acecare are very good.
Acecare has a US warehouse, costs a few bucks more but arrives 5-7 days sooner.
You can order from Amazon if you are in a big hurry but 50% more (at least) than AliExpress.

If you want 5 or more then Alibaba is the way to go

Not sure 🤔 it looks like the one on AliExpress that’s adjustable but I’ve never used it tethered

I have, I use them for tethering my air tube guns that do not have regulators. Tank is filled to 4500psi, I usually adjust the regulator to 2200psi and let it take over when the air tube drops that far. I generally use one of my adjustment tubes that came with my adjustable gun regulators

It is stable and easy to adjust. Just crank the hex screw in, fill the tube, set the pressure you want. You can do it on the tank if you don't have a small tube or bottle.

It is not advisable to adjust lower under pressure. A little is okay, adjust, bleed, check. But don't do more than 100 psi or so.

I have the regulated valve from Wes in my 500cc bottle, and I find it works great. I got it specifically for filling my Air Arms Alpha pistol because the reservoir is tiny (only 27 ccs!) and thus a "feathered" fill from a conventional valve is tough to control well enough.

Anyways, one thing I have learned is that since the valve is regulated, there is a lot more air wasted to venting when done with a fill vs. a standard valve. With the tank filled to 3500 psi (its aluminum) and the reg set to 2900 psi, I only get three fills of that tiny reservoir when I vent the line after each fill - that much is lost to venting on each fill. But if I add an Edgun EaZy fill valve on the end, I get a ton of fills as long as I don't vent the valve. Bottom line, I think the Eazy fill (or the AliExpress knockoffs) are a great addition with this valve on a small bottle.

Te AliExpress knock-offs are iffy at best.
Don't know what they use for O'rings but they do not last.
Especially that little tiny one under the screw (4 or 5 mm I think)
But for the price a bit of maintenance is okay.

The regulated fill valve is $42 + $12 shipping (or there abouts)
