I wonder if you could go from .25 to .35 just by swapping the barrel and probe? What would the velocities look like.

You can change to a lower caliber. You just may have to change your hammer weight setups and reg pressure(s).Hey guys,
So I have a fx impact m3 .35 cal to be shipped soon to hunt wild hogs with but still like to hunt small game. So I ordered .25 cal barrel kit. I’ve seen where this can now be done easily and double checked with FX that this can still be done with M3. They affirmed but mentioned that I would not be able to adjust speed down much. So sounds like I will be limited to slugs more vs pellets that require lower speeds or at least heavier grain? I don’t like the idea of being limited with the new quick tune system. Anybody have experience with results of lower calibers and .35 cal impact?
thanks!
Although the 35 cal comes with washers, the washers are a gimmick imo. Get a tungsten hammer without them. It is more about spring power and weight. I have tested this extensively. From my discussions with FX on converting a Lower caliber M3 to the 35, the stock as factory delivered 35 cal has 2 additional weighted washers added to the hammer to get the power up enough.
So to convert the 35 to a lower caliber and to reduce speed to a more acceptable adjustable range you would need to remove said washers
Much like the 25 cal and 30 cal Maverick have 2 different hammer weights... 25 cal is 11 gram and 30 is a 13 gram IIRC
