Anyone know what it is? I’ve got a Kalibrgun carbine mini with the shroud off and purchased a tanto for it. The tanto was small enough to where it didn’t touch the airtube, but it’s not as quite as some of my other moderators.

Correct. I was just trying to find another moderator in the same diameter (or smaller) that might bit more effective.

Impulse moderators are the quietest i have found and you can extend them for more . Even a chart to give values of the extension when added

STO Brevitas. Shows out of stock & I believe I read he's no longer producing them.
The older style Weihrauch moderators were a bit smaller than the Tanto in diameter.
0dB has some that are 32mm which I think is very slightly larger than a Tanto.

You could try TKO, they have a .875" and 1" models. Though if you fit a Tanto without issues I would look at something like a Huggett Belita or Snipe. They're not cheap but they seem to work well.

The 0db is 1.26“, the Tanto and Belita are 1.22” The only skinnier mod I have is a home brew carbon fiber and Benjamin baffle mod at 1.18” or 30mm, which works surprisingly well for about $10-15 and an hour’s time.

I just picked up a FOX 300. Quieter than I expected for its size 30mm OD. I’m running it on a .25 Crown 380mm which has a bit of a bark.
Not as nice sounding or as quiet as the STO Falax I have but a good bit smaller. The build quality and finish are very nice. Unfortunately it’s pricey.
