I have thought many times about acquiring a Daystate electronic rifle, but still have not “pulled the trigger”.
I have an interesting Daystate “hybrid “ rifle that is perhaps a perfect blend. Its a .25 Renegade HP. It has an electronic trigger (maintained by simple 9v disposable battery) and the rest of the rifle is mechanical - basically a Wolverine HP with an electronic trigger.
Bought it used, had less than 1/2 tin of pellets through it, tags were still attached. Trigger is a distinct, crisp 2 stages.. and breaks consistently at 2.8 ounces… incredible!
I’m a pretty experienced tuner/maintainer/fixer of PCPs, so my hesitation with the Daystate fully electronic rifles is - how adjustable are they actually?
Can you set your low/med/high power settings to be a specific FPS for each?
If not, it seemed easier to adjust a hammer spring or length of hammer throw … and have just an electronic trigger.
