"keysersoze"Bluestone, after a great many PCP guns I haven't found one yet that wasn't fussy. One of the main complaints regarding smooth twist barrels, they are fussy. Some of the LW barrels, particularly the ones made for Weihrauch tend to strip lead off the pellet. Pellet lube can help with this but a better more permeant solution is to have the barrels polished. Any good airgun smith can perform this for you at a very reasonable reasonable price. The smooth twist barrel will still be fussy.
Thank you for that.
I have tried lubing the pellets with mixed success; they work fine for a while then suddenly go all to pot.
I have not tried polishing the bore. But you are right about fouling; the choke are on mine is the problem area in lead build-up.
If smooth twist barrels are pellet fussy then my vote has to go with the Pulsar, which has a real, old fashioned, barrel.
