Snowpeak Snowpeak M60

So my .22 M60 has proved to be very accurate out of the box. Im shooting jsb exact 18,13 right now due to having a few tins on hand. I am using a discovery HT 1-16x40 ffp scope and as of now have only shot it out to 60 yards. I have taken more than one groundhog at 60 yards at this point. I do plan to buy a few different types of pellets and slugs in the future but as of now I’m pretty content and happy with not having made any adjustments to the gun. While this gun isn’t exactly cheap it’s definitely worth the money I have in it. I also hope we see the airgun community take this gun a bit more seriously and just not see it as a cheap piece of junk. I have had great success in the field since getting this M60 in my hand. 🎯

How clean and crisp is the trigger action on this gun ? Can the break weight approach one pound ?
Yes, you may need to do a little spring changing. I did in the last one i had and this current bullshark i have. A little rod twisting for length and a spring for weight. They have a decent break from the get. I feel like a trigger snob too, i traded a delta wolf to go back to an impact for the trigger alone.

How's the muzzle report on this rig? Does the factory moderator do a decent job?

Curious as I have a 30 cal on the way from Wes and didn't know of I should or will need to upgrade to a Donny or something.

Thanks.
I personally think it does a decent job for what Wes charges.

Would you say it's backyard friendly? If the 22 isn't, then the 30 cal definitely won't be.
I think the .22 report is backyard friendly. I think the m60 itself isn’t backyard friendly for some areas due to it being a bit to powerful. I take the m60 to Dads and Grandparents place when I want to target shoot. I only shoot a HW30 and notos in my backyard and sometimes I don’t like shooting the notos just because I have close neighbors.

I have a backstop that has survived 150 fpe 357 pellets, so I'm okay there. My neighbors are used to me shooting, but I don't want to alert them any further and make them think I'm shooting firearms either. I sold off the 357 simply because it was too power and long for my liking (49").

Thanks again.
