So I found this on fakebook marketplace for $50 and figured why not as I only have a hand pump. Hopefully it won't give up the ghost till I can get a better one. Any advice on making it last besides not using
Yeah the biggest I have at the moment is a 220cc I think, and all are 250 bar and under. Mostly small carbine guns and pistols.Fill guns only, don't over heat it. Small reservoirs only. Would not try for 4500 fills at all.
Cross your fingers say a couple prayers. What a deal. Smart to grab it.
It is new, yes I checked it out before paying for it story is they got it of ebay thinking it was an airbrush compressor.Neu,
Have you tried it? Did seller say why they were selling or give any history? Expected longevity could be found in those answers. WM
Sounds like you made out like a king here. Congrats man.It is new, yes I checked it out before paying for it story is they got it of ebay thinking it was an airbrush compressor.
Very nice, new is closer to $300, or more, $50 seems too good to be true. Biohazardman, a member most knowledgeable on small HPA compressors, states the water-less, oil-less compressors are good for 20-25 hours, or a year to year and a half. Following some of the excellent advice, so far offered, you should have no problem reaching that. Might want to consider a filter, another member just posted some interesting pics. I have one of those big gold water/oil filters that I was using with my hand pump I'll switch it over to this little guy. I was really surprised how small the damn thing is after seeing some of the larger scuba fill compressors. I know they kinda considered disposable but I hope it does last a year or so.Very nice, new is closer to $300, or more, $50 seems too good to be true. Yes it will stay in the house with the ac, also plan building a little stand with a fan blowing directly under itGood deal! Hope it holds up for you. Keep your fill sessions short and cool.
Keep filter vertical, works best handling moisture that way. A year will give you time to save for an upgrade and sure beats hand pumping. Could I use one line going to the filter then another line coming off the filter going to the gun and keep the filter vertical that way?Keep filter vertical, works best handling moisture that way. A year will give you time to save for an upgrade and sure beats hand pumping. WM
Gotcha thanks need to get one of those cascading??? Filters next, thanks for all the input.Neu,
Yes, borrow from your handpump, parts will generally fit. Here's a picture of my Yong Heng set-up, might give some ideas. WMView attachment 343333
