Another update.........Here's the response from Krale:

Hello Mark, 

We received it, thank you! My colleague and I just checked it. With the rifle itself, there is no problem. 2 pellets were loaded when you shot with the rifle. The pressure caused one of the pellets to shoot through the end cap and made the barrel blow up. We can solve it for €50,00. We can also order a new barrel and end cap at Kral Arms, this will take about 2 months and cost a couple of hundred dollars. Please let me know what you prefer.

I highly doubt i double loaded the gun. Weird how he quoted the ''solve it'' in Euros and quoted the barrel and end cap at '' a couple hundred dollars" and 2 months! WOW, a couple hundred dollars for a shroud and end cap! The barrel is fine as i put plenty of rounds thru it after i removed the shroud. I just told 'em to send it back. Pretty disappointed with that service. How do they come up with I double loaded it! Wouldn't that mess up the actual barrel too? Wonder exactly what ''solve it'' means?

No, if you double loaded the gun the results could have been exactly what happened to your gun. I’m sure they see tons of guns come back every year from new pcp owners claiming they did nothing wrong. Problem is, we all were new pcp owners at one time and know the dumb stuff we did. I hope your gun makes it back safely and if you still want a shroud, build one.

I have only ordered from Krale once, but they were awesome. Uses a drinking straw in the end when you feed the Patchworm through. It REALLY helps.

I just feel that Krale should contact Kral and see what they would like to do. I don't believe I double fed the rifle. This not my first PCP it's my third. Not that it's not possible but I just don't believe that's the case. Also, they just assumed this happened. I think it's lame they didn't say what ''solving'' involves. I feel they should contact Kral(since the email address on the Kral sight is ''undeliverable") and see if they would just send a new shroud and end cap and why does a shroud and end cap cost a couple hundred dollars when the complete rifle was only 650 bucks! Hopefully they just send it back and that is that. I just want to get back out there. Thanks!

Update...........got the rifle back in the same state it was since they said it was my fault. Asked if they could send it with the owners manual since i didn't receive one in the first place and Krale said they contacted Kral and the manual is in Turkish. But wouldn't they send it with the gun in the first place? I'm assuming there would be some type of diagram in it at least. I would like to know how to adjust settings if i can.....dissapointed with Kral. At least i have it and can go shoot it this weekend. Thanks everyone for input and feedback!

I have never used Krale, But does anyone have a diagram of them? I'm curious, even a double feed I've never seen blow out the rifle like that. Granite i have double-fed my guns a couple of times but never had serious damage in that way. (def. going to just bite the "pellet" lol and take the barrel off or something to undo the double-feed now) (I know you said you don't believe you did that not trying to say you did)

Yeah, I still don't think it was a double feed, I mean it was the first shot out of the gun, I didn't cock it twice! I just took the shroud off and put my Donny Sumo on it so it's fine now. Still wish i had some sort of manual.

Drop any gun from 30 inches and it'll do damage, especially on an aluminum shroud or those pot metal handles. The biathlon levers won't break like that.

I figured by how the threads snapped off the shroud. They screw on to the np03 breech, and that floating barrel is easy to whack and they crack there. I've had 2 fail at the same point. I always put a mega barrel band on my np03 tube guns. Helps a ton with accuracy too.

When you add the Mega barrel band, do you need to also use the Mega dust cover for the fill port?

I see they make a marine stainless shroud. Currently looking for parts but the kral contact email bounces back and their online form errors. Typically no stock anywhere for replacement shrouds

Try reaching out to Canada shooting supply.com. Canada air gun shooters cannot have a shrouded barrel, and I bet they may have some spares.

It won't fit, I just stick the np03 cap on the end of the tube. It'll stay put, bit you have to remove it to fill the air.
