Just like the poll says. Grab an M3 for 200 off retail or pre order or wait for an M4. I would pony up the extra 200 clams and wait for the M4.

It is doubtful that I will ever own another FX airgun. I have found them to be sweet shooting and very accurate but problematic when it comes to O-rings and maintaining a good air seal. Currently my MKII is on the bench awaiting the arrival of a new regulator and specific O-rings and now my new Wildcat MKIII BT is presenting with a very slow leak - Just got it back from the shop at the end of last season and only shot a couple of times over the winter. Oh well, I will get them up and running again . . .

My mk2 impact is the only PCP that I own that's leaking. I bought the mk2 because it didn't have 2 regs. My 2 chicom and 1 Korean PCPs are holding air perfectly. Main reason I still love my impact is I can not only up grade it to near the same as the newest version but I can buy any part that is needed.

I can't see a reason to go from my M3 to the M4.
Of course I'll fully admit I haven't watched any M4 videos or read the threads for fear of doing it anyway.

I can see reasons. Stiffer chassis, a single regulator, sliding dovetail rail, trigger and hopefully some of them might address the POI shifting enough to coerce me into purchasing one.

Stiffer frame? I’m asking honestly here, is this really a significant problem or is it relevant mostly with the longer barrels and slug kits? Can someone explain how much this will affect accuracy or function?

When using an F-Class rest at the front end of the K&L UIT trigger guard/rail (near the front of the bottle) the rifle frame will flex, especially when using spiked feet in hard ground.
The F-Class rest is much, much, stiffer and much wider than a standard bipod. Using a standard bipod, the bipod flexes, twists, and slides as you torque the rifle so you don't see or feel any frame flex.

None. Perfectly happy with my Boss, Crown Mk 2, Royale 500 Elite, Royale 400, 2 Bobcats and Dreamline FT. No space guns for me!

I'm with "prfleetsvs"! Have no desire for nor interest in that platform. 90% of content here regarding them are problems & malfunctions. I'm happy as a pig in sh-t to have 3 guns that are always accurate, dependable & deliver everything I need from them (Bobcat, Royale, Boss platform). YMMV.

I feel like FX hasn't raised their prices at all for their level of quality air rifles. The original Impact was $2000.00 if I recall.

Wouldn't say that. But a Panthera or Dynamic are quite long and don't have the same shot count. Great bench rifles. I think the lack of thunder is if you already have an MK2 or M3, and have done supporting mods. You stand to gain nothing expect from a trigger on this new model. Which that is to be seen as well. If you are a new Impact buyer, than for sure this is the one to go with over the M3.

I would agree with this ^. Try and sell a used Panthera. Used value so low that I wouldn’t try to sell mine.
There is not enough significant change from the M3 to the M4 to get me to spend and extra dime.
