After much consideration I am selling my Daystate Midnight .22/45 FPE rifle. Price has been reduced to better reflect today's market. I shot it in testing after I first got it from Airguns of Arizona on 11/15/2020 but it has hardly been out of the safe since then. Frankly, I am a air rifle silhouette shooter and this rifle is just too powerful for that. I planned to shoot it at longer ranges for fun but that never developed. So – I’m selling it to fund other purchases.
The rifle is in absolutely excellent condition: no scratches, nicks, bumps, or other signs of abuse. It has been babied from day one and kept in a gun sock inside a gun safe. I would like to sell the complete rifle with scope and silencer as a package rather than break it up. I would also much rather sell face-to-face than ship this wonderful rifle and expose it to potential damage during shipping. As a bonus – if you can meet me for a sale within 200 miles of Jackson, TN, I will include a Pelican Vault case customized for this rifle for free. We can discuss shipping if you find you cannot meet to pick up the rifle.
Here’s what’s included:
The price for the entire package, picked up, is $2,500.00 cash or by PayPal using your phone when we meet. That’s roughly 66% of what I have in the package. For that, you get a nicely equipped Red Wolf that is tested, sighted in, and immediately ready to use.
The rifle is under warranty at Airguns of Arizona. They have procedures in place to inspect the rifle and transfer the warranty to the new owner. Contact Airguns of Arizona about their process and the cost of doing this.
PLEASE – review the documentation in the pictures and information below so there is no misunderstanding about what this rifle is, its power and speed, or its history.
Contact me by PM here initially. We’ll talk by phone after that if you are interested.
Daystate .22 Midnight Data:
Test results were developed using a combination of the FX pocket chronograph and a Caldwell chronograph. Shots were made from a bench rest using a bipod on the front and sand bag on the rear with light, variable winds. Your accuracy may differ – I’m probably not the best bench rest shooter around.
Best Pellets Low Power:
Best Pellets Mid Power:
Best Pellets High Power:
My goal included being reasonably quiet. Several of the lighter pellets I tested went supersonic on high power, so I did not test these for accuracy or power.
I have Excel spreadsheets of my testing I will gladly share if you want to see them.
