Recently, I fully serviced and tuned this 1986 Weihrauch HW77 for a true gentlemen, now in his 70s, suffering from arthritis in his hands that make it very difficult for him to single load the small .177 pellets, and cock the rifle. It is an absolute classic and unlike any other I had ever seen, with the slide release on the cocking lever, and the gold markings of all of the rifle's details. The stock is in pretty decent shape for a rifle this old, and having resided mostly in a safe for decades. There are a few handling marks on the stock (some of the glare in the photos may make it appear as if there is a severe scratch that is actually photo glare, but there is absolutely nothing disparaging other than the typical handling marks indicated). The bluing is still very good for the most part, with some fade and rub evident - see photos.
When I received it for service, the grease and seals had hardened. There is a complete write-up on this rifle and the tune on a previous springer post on this forum that can be found with a bdzjlz author search. Suffice it to say that I went 100% through this rifle, including a complete trigger disassembly, polish, and tune, plus installed a Vortek PG4 steel HO kit (with the spring trimmed). The result, this is one of the most accurate spring rifles I have ever shot - see photos.
Because of his hand ailments, the owner has asked me to sell this rifle for him. It will be shipped, with all of the original 1986 Beeman catalogs and paperwork, plus two tins of H&N FTT pellets, in a double foam box, for the total sum of $550.00. PayPal F&F or regular PayPal +3%.
Thanks for looking. Dan Z.
