I just got this gun about a month ago and realize that I just don't need a 45-60fpe airgun also want an airgun I can toss into my backpack. I originally wanted a .25 to shoot 100+ yards but the reality is I rarely get a chance to go do that and most of my shooting is 50 yards or less. It is in excellent condition and was basically new when I bought it (I bought it from Will Piatt a well known airgunsmith and he had only shot it 200 times). I have shot a couple tins of Jsb Kings through it in my backyard.
The only thing I guess you could say is wrong with it: I used a cheap harbor freight ball end allen key on the shroud set screw and it snapped off leaving the ball head stuck in the screw I did get it out and the screw replaced but in doing so there is a tiny bit of anodizing/bluing? missing just around the edge of the set screw hole. Not even noticeable but wanted to put it out there. Other than that it there is not a scratch on it.
It will come double boxed in the original packaging from Talon Tunes with the test target and chrony sheet (the holes in the test target look a bit small
). I don't have the single shot tray or pins but will include 2 spare mags (4 in total), 3 Bizill mag holders, fill probe w/ male foster and a bag of breech o rings. I also added an Atlas Bt17 rail on the stock so you can use a bipod.
It is accurate shooting the Jsb Kings at 880-890fps now and I can consistently shoot 3/4" ten shot groups at 50 yards. 30 shots on the reg with a 220bar fill and 40 shots with a 250bar fill. Will had it set to shoot the 34 grain Jsb's at 870fps and said it was laser accurate with them but I never tried it.
Will sell gun+extras for $1200 shipped in the conus. Paypal gift or you add the 3% I've got plenty of good feedback on the GTA and the old yellow forum (haven't bought or sold much here). The only trade I would consider is an EDgun Leshiy in any caliber (prefer the old "analog" gauge to the digital). Also when the Taipan goes I will sell my SS 12x42 Mil-quad and the UTG PRO rings to fund a new scope for the Leshiy but not before. Thanks for looking!
