Solid Slugs

Why don't they make solid (non-HP) slugs in .25 and .30 calibers? I found a few but the calibers are just a hair larger (.257 & .308) than I can use.

I'd say because most are swage slugs...it's just as easy to make hollow point....sells deal.....A solid slug has its advantages... Especially on larger game...

The Altaros slugs are solid. I shoot them in my .25 King and the accuracy is incredible. I shot two squirrels within 30 seconds of each other the other day at approximately 85 yards. The slugs passed through leaving a perfect quarter inch hole on the other side - so certainly no expansion but both squirrels never moved after the hit.

They shoot almost as good as the Altaros out of my Taipan Vet 2 Tactical 25cal.
