Some .22 Marauder groups with stock barrel

I see lots of talk about how bad the .22 Marauder barrels are, but not much about what a good one can do-I was cautious myself about the .22 but couldn't tolerate the low shot count of the .25 for my main PCP. I found a used Gen 1 from a reputable guy on the Yellow classifieds and when he told me he'd set it up for a 2100 psi fill I decided to buy it. Turns out he had tuned it down to 20 foot lbs. for field target and had set the trigger to "telepathic". I don't know if they all shoot this well, but this one is-acceptable IMO!

Nice groups. I wanted a 22 cal but bought the 25 cal as I kept reading about all the accuracy problems with the 22 cal. How would I know to purchase a good verses lousy barrel? FWIW, my 25 cal is very very accurate. better than this old 75 yr old guy can shoot. Brian <><
