Set up in the basement today. 10 Meters just testing pellets. Filled the Beeman 2027 to 2900psi and turned to power way down (shooting around 400 fps). Open sites. Test 25 different pellets, 3 shots each. No clear winner as I stink with open sights. But what is really amazing is that after 75 shots the gauge still read just under 2000 PSI! That is a lot of shooting and my guesstamite would be in the ball park or 100 shot on low power per fill! This gun is heavy, but accuracy is spot on (barrel has not been cleaned). I'm shopping for a scope for this as I think this could make a real nice short range pesting gun when the power is turned up.
Also put a scope on the Bandit (super cheap Amazon scope that I am reviewing) After sighting in (bottom 2 targets) I managed to shoot the top 3 targets 5 shots per target all within the 8 ring)
And to top it off, my wife let me order the rest of my Christmas present so I have a Crosman 1377 with stock and steel breech kit on the way! Man this winter is gonna be fun shooting indoors!
