Other Something other than a Weihrauch

Well I have been retired sense October of 2023 and have only had about An hour in that time frame to shoot ☹️ today I decided to. Get to shooting again 😀 On this cool 94 deg evening Pulled out a rifle I had purchased from fly Dragon sometime in 2023 .the Chinese knock off of a Diana model 34 in 22 cal modelXS25S I tell you if it didn’t say chine on it, you would thing you were shooting a Diana 34 😳 I’ve got about 300 pellets down the tube. Just with a little tinkering got the trigger, Some what ok . And it showing promise of being a good shooter . It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than any of my Weihrauchs so far just as much fun to shoot. 😳 so if a person would want to get into springers and didn’t have the budget for a Weihrauch. I think this would be a good gateway into springer s . Just my opinion

I totally agree. I'm a huge fan of the XS25. I own three. They are every bit as good as the 34 and if you purchased them from Flying Dragon when Mike was selling them you would get a good one. Every Xisico I purchased from him is a excellent rifle. On every airgun site there is always love for HW and its the first thing that's recommended. However in real life experience, hunting and target shooting. You don't need a expensive gun to accomplish the same goal.

And a good opinion you have.

I bought a tuned Flying Dragon XS25 used and its a great shooter .Smooth ,accurate the only aspect that's better on my D34s is the trigger
is a bit smoother. The "Ruger " branded Diana 34 clones are great too.
Not everyone has HW money or enough interest to really dive in to a brand new hobby with the "top shelf" guns . Not knowing if they will have time or
interest enough to get them out and use them.

And I have three MM tuned XS25, a tuned XS28M with three barrels and a tuned XS46U for the price of many of your HW rifles
My total cost around $750

I had the wood stocked version in .22 with Mike's full tune, 2nd trigger screw mod and I refinished the plain looking stock not long after I got it.
As already mentioned, if you got it from Mike, you were guaranteed to get a very good rifle since he'd make sure every last thing was right before he shipped it to you, plus his lifetime warranty. Fellow member @Lt.Dan is the current caretaker of that rifle and told me he'd talked to Mike about trigger adjustments and also found out the warranty carries over to any new owner should the original buyer sell it or in a case like mine, gift the rifle to someone.
Every bit as good as the 2 real D34's in .177 and .20 I still own.

How about a Cometa? Keystone airguns

I am partial to British-made. That said , Mike has been doing his thing for what seems like decades and everybody loves his rifles, so their choices are a great thing.
I'd like to be and a UK built Tomahawk and Longbow are on my wish list of rifles, but absolutely no complaints about the XS25 I got from Mike.
Also not the only brand I have since I've also got guns in the arsenal from HW/Beeman, Crosman, Benjamin, Sheridan, Hatsan/Turkbuilt Webley, Mendoza, Norica and Umarex.
