Unless the stinky weasels are causing real damage I could never bring myself to shoot one. My wife and I own ferrets and they are too closely related to our pets.

They also eat ticks.

Lol! Head shots on skunks make them spray every time. Vital shots are 50/50.

My experience is only 3 shooting them, all over 50 yards from the house. Passed on a couple that were closer out of caution. All body shots with a 17hmr, yeah, I know that's a powder burner. Not one sprayed. I have live trapped 10 or so, they didn't spray either.
