Soon to be New gun owner

Sounds like you are well on your way to solving the squirrel problem. I’d be moving the hell out of your yard if I was them.
I’d like to suggest trying Air Arms falcon 13.43 g pellets, they are incredibly accurate out of one of my Benjamin‘s. And, I feel you can’t go wrong with JSB 18.1 g either.
Enjoy -and keep us posted on how things are going.

Look at this! All of a sudden I can't remove it. Do I need to take the gun apart?

make sure your cocking bolt is pulled back all the way with one hand as you pull the mag out with the other. If that isn’t it you may have a pellet half out the mag and half in the breech. Two options to fixing this-
1. Get a wooden dowel, cleaning rod(one piece preferred, and coated), or a plastic type rod small enough in diameter fo slide down your barrel from the front to rear, to push that pellet back into the mag
2. Remove the barrel from its action, but that means breaking your gun down. It’s not a big deal for a seasoned skill set saavy pcp owner, but it can be overwhelming to some. YouTube marauder disassembly to assist in the procedure should you go that route, and remember- safety first as you should degas the gun of air. If this is your first time in disassembly.

Typically on these carousel type mags like on marauders, avengers, gauntlets, what causes these half in half out pellet jams are bent skirts on the pellets.

I’ve heard of folks shearing the stuck pellet in half. I’ve never done it as I didn’t want to risk ruining my mag, so I’m not even going to suggest that procedure.

I remove my barrel all the time without degassing. I think that just removing the barrel will allow you to sort it all out.
How do I remove just the barrel? I've watched several YT videos on this and not one shows barrel removal. Only the whole unit. Would the transfer port not allow the barrel to simply pull out once I remove the set screws? I easily removed shroud and that's as far as I got.

Next you remove the little plastic piece that the shroud screws into by loosening the grub screw, and slide it off the barrel. Next, loosen the four screws at the corners of the receiver. Then loosen the two grub screws centered on the front pic rail. I guess simply loosen all six small screws on the top of the receiver, then carefully start to rotate your barrel out of the receiver. I also checked YouTube and couldn't find a video on this, which is surprising.

I've purchased a 1st gen .22 cal Maruader, not in possession yet. I've been scrambling for a week on how to power this and thought I could use a free scuba tank which as you know and now I know they can only fill to 3000 and the scba shop told me I wouldn't be happy with it after filling the gun once or twice, so I've decided to buy a compressor. I was originally gonna buy a Tuxing 032 which are 1109 now on Amazon but I think the 031 would work just as well for filling a rifle? I'd be saving several hundred. What else would I need to buy in order to get started with this setup?

I just can't wrap my head around any of these lesser priced compressor's no matter how many reviews I read on them. I'm aware that a real compressor is over 4,000, that's not gonna happen. A first time shooter probably needs that guppy tank but the filling station is an hour away for me!
