RAW Rapid Sourced BSA .22 barrels from John Bowkett

For a RAW HM1000X .22 I have sourced barrel blank which is around 20 years old.

Going to install in a RAW HM1000X .22.

The 2nd blank is for another gun.

That barrel will be used as something else than a barrel.

In old Theoben Rapids, the combination of Theoben with BSA barrel was considered to be lethal. Its still the same, I have witnessed.

Hopefully but as blanks are not tested we can hope for good accuracy.

BSA barrels are hammer forged and from what I have read they have a taper to the bore. So basically yes they are similar to choked barrels except its over a longer distance than most choked barrels. Thats how I understand it from what I have read on BSA barrels. I cut a BSA barrel down to 12" but I cant remember how long it was but it was 4" plus that got cut off. It was just as accurate with pellets after it was cut down.

Yes. These are gradually choked

I was lucky enough to get 2 from Sandwell field sports in the UK years ago for my HW100s they sure were great barrels.
It's another I should of kept them story.
