My 700 is enroute to Veradium Air for slug shooting modifications. Brian has achieved serious results in breaking the 700 down, polishing, resetting, a few secret tricks applied, and is getting some very very real increases in fps/fps using slugs.
For those of us power hungry slug slingers who are NEVER satisfied with OEM results, we seek the next step without spending a $!000+ for pistols that still fail to perform.
Enter a gun (700), and an experienced pcp modifier who states the OEM 700 isn't near it's peak performance with pellets or slugs.
His modded 700 shop prototype results sound almost too good to be true, but I'm convinced enough to let him take my 700 apart, and squeeze out every ounce of power it has to offer.
Brian made it very clear that once modified, my 700 is going to be a slug slinger of the highest order. I need that...my soul needs that!!! The 750 can do the back yard work...I need my 700 to reach out further, and touch something really hard with slugs. Since his shop prototype has proven his brag, I'm willing to chance my precious 700 to Brian's hands.
When I get it back I'll post costs, chrony, pics, fps/fpe, slug weights/types, and the hard facts of my experience.
Stay tuned. It won't be next week because his shop is relocating. I'm willing to wait awhile.
Regards,
Kindly 'Ol Uncle Hoot
PS: You can trust my results because at age 77 I know I'll go straight to hell if I lie to, or mislead, you youngsters!!!
I did this to my kids, and they were well behaved...for awhile! Of course none of them speak to me now...oh well, never liked kids anyway!
