Sparrows are thinning out a little

OK shooting with the Uragan 177 at 880 FPS with JSB 10gr Most shots at 48 yards some at 35 , I used to get 30 to 40 setting out in back yard for an hour but I have thinned them out a lot this summer, There getting there colors in and I am able to pick out the male from the female sparrows and that's a big plus, Start taking the young males out will bring in more area males to the feed stations

I started out with a break barrel FWB 124 I thought nothing was more accurate, I shot a ton of sparrows with that gun,
But man-0- man was I dead wrong when I jumped into the PCP world, I never looked back...

I’ve had a Coopers or a Sharp shinned Hawk around fro a couple weeks.
No birds, squirrels or chippers. Rabbits seem down too. We were overrun a month ago.

Good shooting on those flying vermin. After rats, sparrows are my favorite pests to target, particularly the feed thieves at the farm. They will always be around so keep “thinning“ them. Love the smack sound the pellets make when solidly centering them.
