Tuning Special tools for our hobby? What do you have?

Never mind the yoga mat, what’s that jig you got set up to mount your impact on?

I am kind of cheap for a joystick BR bipod, had some material laying around from my old-work projects and I made it right away as a vise/clamp/jig for a table top as well.

So I got a longer barrel kit and decided to transfer my HUMA transfer port to it but could not use a pin punch as it would damage the bridge in the port.

I have a non marring vice grip but the brass is too soft.

so I got some copper tubing, cut a short section and another section length wise. de-burred it and now have something I can use to remove the transfer port

without damaging or gouging it. Works pretty dang good too!

A few years back I was lucky enough to get a used Grizzly 9x20 lathe . The ways have some runout and it’s cost me triple in tooling but overall very happy with it. Of course I’d love to have one of better quality with all the attachments. Numbered drill bit index is a must , an in/lb torque driver and wheeler gun smith screwdriver set. I’m a heavy equipment mechanic so the list of tools in my possession would be far too long to list. My friends all come to me when looking for specialty tool. If I don’t have the tool they need , I usually buy it. Most of the one I’ll never use it but you never know . :)

Many of the tools used for powder burning duties work for air rifles. Calipers and micrometers used in reloading, as well as an accurate balance scale for weighing pellets. Many of the hand tools used on firearms work just as well on air rifles. Haven't bought any special tools for air rifles, just use the ones I always used for my firearms. Any place that sells tools for firearms will have most of what you need for air rifles.
