Spinner shaft dividers/stops?

I need to revamp my spinners. Everything I've tried to attach to the shafts to hold the spinners in place either gets shot away because it's too soft or moves because it's too hard to grip the wire frame. Then the spinners slide into each other. I was wondering what you guys were using to locate/separate your spinners on the shafts of your DIY spinners?

I'm using approximately 1/8-3/16" hard wire frames. The holes in the paddles are probably 1/4-3/8".

I'm using springers so they not getting hit by anything crazy. I'm sure there's a simple solution I haven't thought of yet.

Thanks
Ron

I've made a few spinners from scrap at work. I weld a washer on each side of the arm to keep them in place. If you don't have a welder a local shop may help. I worked at an exhaust shop for years and like once a month someone would bring something like that in and just ask us for a quick weld and we never really charged them anything. Some people would bring us donuts or something as a thank you

I think the steel tubing is probably the easiest solution when first making the frames. I'll have to straighten one leg to get them on the existing frames. Welding washers is a good idea if i can find someone who can weld to fairly thin wire frames.

I'm thinking maybe small steel springs?
The spring idea would also let you tension the spoons.

The split loom is a plastic tube with a split down one side used to keep wire harness neat.

Easy to slip on over wires (or frames) and super easy to cut to length with a pocket knife Cheap and available at a local auto parts place or on line.

Multiple suggestions for similar ways to achieve your goal. Cost, effort to cut and fit and local availability are the main differences.

The Know Your Limits targets made by multiple vendors seem to be the preferred spinner target setup. A single bar with divided spinners supported at both ends seems to be the most stable.

My home made know your limits target has short pieces of pvc pipe to separate the swinging targets. They are about 6 inches higher than the target so they haven't gotten hit yet. If they did it would be pretty simple and cheap to replace. I consider my target home made but I did use Target Forge's connectors for the legs. But I made all the swinging pieces out of 1/4 inch steel rod and washers (at least doubled for thickness). The 1/4 inch swinger is just the bare rod and the 1/2 is a hex nut, I think it was 5/16. The rest are washers. I bent the rod for the swingers around 3/4 black iron pipe which makes them a loose fit on 3/4 conduit.
