Hey, as long as you are happy with it eh! I'm presuming (hoping) that it was a synthetic stock - it would be blasphemous to paint walnut! LOL!
That you painted the whole gun implies that you are serious about camouflage. The small detail looks good at close distances but the affect quickly disappears when you step back a bit. I'd suggest that you add some high contrast bold blocky areas to break up the rifle's profile.
I do a lot of wood working including gun stocks, adding a couple of coats of varnish to the walnut stock on my Crown is planned for this winter.
@Vana2. lol, yup I was nuts to do so, but I am actually quite happy with the outcome. I would never sell this gun and now it is unique to me.
Yes, it is a synthetic stock and not wood. I have added some more patterns to the gun after the video was filmed. But I might add some more darker colors in the future. Thanks for watching.
