Spring buzz vs accuracy?

I'm really curious, does spring buzz cause a decrease in accuracy?

I have absolutely no reason to ask, other than just plain curiosity.

We were out shooting our springers yesterday. Son was shooting his 22 cal Chinese break barrel and considering the limitations of the SKS looking sights, it's quite accurate at 20yds. At that distance, an equal for my hw35e. (My 35 e is considerably more powerful though). The Chinese Break barrel has no buzz whatsoever, just a dull thud. My HW has a pretty strong buzz to it.

Just curious.

I well remember back in the early 80’s getting my first barrel cocker. My buddy and I were squirrel hunting with Sheridans. Having a blast. We decided to make it more fun. Both ordered a Beeman R1. We both just hated the twang and never did get used to it. Didn’t know about tuning back then. Both dumped them. A few years later I got back into springers and started fiddling with them. My friend still pretty much hates all springers. He’s a PCP guy through and through. I still do not like the twang but do not dislike it as much as I once did. I don’t think it affects accuracy at all because the pellet is long gone before that unspent energy is resonating through the shot cycle.
