Those would be perfect. But expensive, unless you have a drawer full of them. I priced a spring so lite it would melt when the mig would hit it. $4.50Door stops screw into wood with a wood screw and have a spring. I know those go "Boing" because my cat seems to take pleasure in that "Boing"![]()
nice!I’ve got bad knees so I have to eliminate as much walking as possible. Targets are a limp away, so any knock downs especially these have to manually be set up. Not into that. View attachment 549487I went through my drawers and found these springs, 14 in all. View attachment 549485After a few adjustment, grinding and cleaning. View attachment 549488Next I attached the springs to a plate.View attachment 549489”WARNING” welding skills are brutal. I hope the welds hold.View attachment 549490I have to get a plate cut to guard the springs. View attachment 549491I am going to smack these around after lunch.View attachment 549492On the 30 yd. line. Problem hopefully solved. Crow

Amazon has them for a little over a dollara piece if you buy fourteen. Those would be perfect. But expensive, unless you have a drawer full of them. I priced a spring so lite it would melt when the mig would hit it. $4.50
I ‘m getting plates and front shields cut for the rest of springs I have. Crow
Thanks for the hot tip. I ordered a dozen. Crow.Amazon has them for a little over a dollara piece if you buy fourteen.
With your abilities, you could weld the silhouettes to bolts that would screw into that spring. The stop may screw into it. If so that would give you the thread and pitch of the bolt to use..Thanks for the hot tip. I ordered a dozen. Crow.
