Springer Scopes

reticle comes loose and rotates on some scopes but
the Optisan is said to be and I quote them,
"Springer Rated
Champion shooters have field-tested this rugged riflescope for over a year on a springer rifle, proving its ability to withstand double direction recoil of up to 6000j post-barrel muzzle velocity. It’s not just limited to air rifles, as it’s also designed to hold centerfire firearms with ease."
I have 2 Optisan but have not put one on a springer,, yet, but my 3-12x32 will be put on a springer, I have 2 springers needing repair, one of them will get the Optisan, the other will get the Center Point
@$52 this is cheap

Depends on the rifle. Some are less violent that others when it comes to scope damage. I would make sure to get something that has an etched reticle and a fantastic no questions asked lifetime warranty. I have broken a few wire reticles and the errector assembly on a Hawke. The Gamo Magnum 33mm gas piston can be tough on scopes. Most of the 10-12fpe 177 rifles are much more mild and dont jostle the scopes as bad.

Guess I'm old school but usually look for older Bushnell scopes made in Japan!
Or the older Legend models made in Korea are bullet proof. They last and last!
I've had a couple for more than 10 years on a springer and still going.
