Tuning Springer screw tightness

Just good and snug, if overtightened they could tweekvsomething out of alignment. Having worked on springers for well over 30 years, a slight amount of loctite blue works well but to many folks use to much. I add one small drop to the threadvthen wipe off excess with my finger. If you see excess residue when removing the screw, you used to much! Best bet is to check for snugness on ocasion

22 inch pounds on the forearm screws. 30 inch pounds on the trigger guard. 15 inch pounds on the vertical scope screws, 30 on the horizontal scope screws. Vibratite VC3 for gooping the threads

That is very close to the formula I use on my TX200s. I tighten all the screws until just finger tight with the short end of the hex. I always start at the trigger end screws. I set the torque wrench at 15 and tighten back and then left - right on the front end. I move the wrench to 20 and tighten back and then right - left on the front. I then take it to 25 and do only the back, then go just under 30 and snug the back screw. I have never used any form of thread lock and have never had a gun loosen up in competition. From time to time, I will use the torque wrench and check the back screw at just under 30 and the front at 20-ish, especially before a two day match.

Scope settings you use are so close as to be pretty well identical to what I do.
