Can anyone tell me what the little triangle piece with a dovetail on it, that came in the scope mounting kit is for? It’s the little part on the righthand side of the photo, next to the screw in standoff. It looks like it would fit into the receiver, in place of the dovetailed piece with the brass insert; but the dovetail on the piece in question is too small to fit there. Is this piece for mounting this scope mount on another rifle?
