Just so you know, today is Squirrel Appreciation Day! So get out there with your favorite airguns and "appreciate" those squirrels. Pew Pew!
I soften' them up in a crock pot for an hour or so, then de-bone and stir fry with veggies and a water/corn starch/soy slurry lol, then serve over rice.I saw that it was squirrel appreciation day today and immediately my mind leapt to wanting to shoot a few. I guess the timing is apropos, this Saturday is the last day in California to legally appreciate them!
How'd you cook this bunch? When you have that many is it easier just to make a stew?

White squirrel is in Florida in a few populations.Nice! That sounds good really. I can’t imagine my wife would eat a full bowl, but she’d probably try a spoon or 2.
Wow! I didn’t know there was such a thing. White animals are rare in nature. How do these guys avoid becoming hawk food? A few ago in Los Angeles all the white cats started disappearing from yards in the foothills…. The birdies got ‘em.
these white squirrel's are mostly on Campus and in the large park , very few outside that area . HUGE fines involved , i heard 10k but never verified that yet .protected but in Bowling Green , True white Squirrels , not Albino .View attachment 531415
you should see the TRI colored one's in Fla . Huge cage with live trees inside , sort of Football field size .Nice! That sounds good really. I can’t imagine my wife would eat a full bowl, but she’d probably try a spoon or 2.
