Starlings are coming back

Noticed they're coming back around, using the same old nesting sites in my trees as they do every year. Seems no matter how many I shoot, one in the group remembers the knot in the tree. They must have a nice hollow in there, because they pack in tight.

Got one of the first on many I'm sure. Decided to shoot this one with my shortened jumbo 25 and a polymag doing 810 fps.

Hit center of chest and came out the base of the neck. 20 yards, nice solid POP!

Also got a crackle, but it's stuck about 20 foot up in a branch!

I always see them in packs of at least 10 and upwards of 30 every time I go to a golf course to remove iguanas and geese. I make sure to always take a shot at them. But as soon as I shoot one, they all disappear lol.

The neighbors property had about 30 in the yard today. They know which property to stay out of:ROFLMAO: It wont be long and some will make the mistake of landing on my property somewhere and they will meet the same fate as their brothers before them.
Yep, they sure do know where the no fly zones are! They remember from years prior, and tell all their high wire buddies about you. I think the ones that wander over are from other flocks or something, trying to find a place.

They're one of my favorite pests to shoot. Crafty devils. Sparrows are okay, but they just kinda sit there, oblivious to their impending doom.
