Starlings got lucky….

Went for a great Fathers Day tandem ride with my wife and came back home to relax the day away. Those four starlings got lucky as I was feeling peaceful. Typically at my permissions I give no quarter. The Atomic XR was willing and able, chomping at the bit, me? I must be getting old and soft. They were about 30 yards away… easy picking for the Atomic XR.

I CAN'T DO IT,,,, if I have clean shot on a Starling, it is going down,,,, heck, I even act like a kid when I see one driving around town, stick my finger at them, like a gun 👉, and say pow

Starlings were my motivation to get into air guns
Seems like I’ve gone soft, but will try to recapture the feeling. There was a time when I would go into “instakill” mode.

Next time ask them " do you feel lucky punk, do ya " then take the long shot . I wouldn't mind some starlings showing up around here.

I chased off a large grey digger aka California ground squirrel off the seed a few days back . Thought for sure he would be back, but some are smart enough to stay away. I let them eat a little seed but only give them 3 chances to leave and that's it.

Am waiting for the woodchuck behind the barn to slip up. It “will not” be getting a pass…💥💀
