I had a wooden setup kind of like yours. I used an old floor mat like you see in stores and such for a back stop. They are pretty stout and stood up to my RWS 48 in .20 caliber. The box is long gone but the mat is now used for oil changes other car work. It still has some pellets stuck in it.

Something I saw someone eslse do was attach a small steel cable through a hole drilled in the base of the silhouette targets and the other end secured to the stand to keep them from flying away.

Great job by the way.

Looks great. Im using something similar. 24x36 T1 3/8 back with 1/8 sides. It's built to slide a 2 inch thick piece of blue HD foam insulation in from the top that targets are pined to or different sized dingers can be hung from the top in front of the foam. I buy a 4x8 ft piece of foam and cut it into 4 pieces. Nice thing is the foam retains your spent lead behind it in the target box. Gather it up in a 5 gallon bucket along with the pieces of dislodged foam and fill with water. Foam floats away leaving lead to recycle. Foam lasts an amazingly long time. Only drawback is weight. I have one that lives at 106 yards on the edge of my farm field and a smaller one I can carry for other distances. sylvan
