started teardown and resealing simple pistol

well i finally ventured into my own repairs started with my pumpmaster classic .177 reseal, first teardown ever! then my father pulled out an old crosman 130 .22 cal.to have me reseal. his was more challenging but good news both are back together and working great!

it is something all should learn to do and those pistols are a good starting point but the 130 can be harder to fix

I bought a crosman 130 like your dad's at a garage sale last year. The pistol looks like new; no wear, rust or scratches, even has original box. The bad news is it won't hold air, so I'm looking for a seal kit and instructions. Can you please send me a parts source?

there are several on ebay thats where i got mine just make sure its for the 130 , and good luck

More than 30 years ago, a friend gave me this 50's Crosman 130 "First Variant" that he'd picked up at a garage sale. It wouldn't hold air (reminded me of the Crosman 760s [also first variant] I had back in the mid/late 60's). I took it all apart, and got it to work with maybe $2 of Hardware Store O-rings (had to buy numerous sizes to find ones that fit/worked). Ever since then, the gun functions fine (can pump it up & leave it for 15 minutes with no velocity loss) on those same parts. Not real 'powerful' (around 300 fps w/8 pumps) but still fun to shoot every once in a while!
