I just got the 8 paddle shooting tree, from Steelplinkers.com, yesterday.
It also rained yesterday so, I decided to put it together.
Inside the box you get a whole bunch of parts wrapped in lots of reading material. lol
Instructions, parts, base, paddles assemblies, allen wrench, and a few spare parts too. I'm glad the paddle assemblies came already put together. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do it myself. I got the 1-1/4" paddles but, there's also a 3/4" option.
Goes together very easily. All the screws are the same size which makes it nice. They put it in the box a little too early and the newspaper stuck to some parts.
Smelling, inspecting, and claiming it for his own.
The whole thing stands 27-1/4" tall.
All the metal is 3/16" thick
MAX of 50fpe
~45 yards+/-
You can tell this is hand made because the paddles aren't perfectly in line. I'm not really concerned with this or the stuck newspaper pieces. After all, I'm going to be shooting it.
Lots of speed shooting apparently makes condensation form!
After about 1/2 a tin of pellets shooting at about 33ft/lbs the paddles showed no signs of additional bending.
Cost was $99 + shipping.
