Steyr LPS custom

I know, it’s not a pistol anymore! But it’s still a super lightweight extremely quiet and very accurate air gun. It’s the Steyr LPS silhouette pistol that AZ converted into this little beast. It’s a .177 that’s shooting at 760 FPS, he said l could have more power still, but not as many shots. He connected the two air tubes and I’m getting about 25 or 30 shots. Here’s groups at 35 yards. If you zoom in and look under the steel spider you can see the target. I’ll post groups at the 60 yard and the 75 yard target soon. It’s too windy now. Groups were shot sitting and off of two bags. Gotta say thanks to fellow member Nick who sold me this gem.

That's a fun pistol project!

I have a LP5 that I enjoy and often wished there was a 10 shot conversion available.

it's a pistol till you put a shoulder stock on it Dave and shooting uphill makes it hard, a nice day on your porch

What marflow said. It's a pistol until you can shoulder it. It's a long barreled pistol, but that's really not historically unusual. What's more, it looks really good. Seems to shoot good too, so it's a win/win!

are you using a longer barrel or its a longer shroud ?

It’s the original barrel, the shroud is longer to make lots of space to handle the air. It’s incredibly quiet.
