Anyone have one? I've been a fan of STO for awhile after having their insert on the Evols that do incredible for their size. Now I'm not using it for quieting down the loudest guns out there actually very quiet guns but it's just to get them near silent, being my Vet Long and my Mutant Short. I like the size, weight and price so gonna try it out. Curious of other opinions.

Got one, it’s on my wildcat. Does a decent job for the size but Falx is Falx (I have 5 :)).

Here’s something interesting about the Pugio. When my RTI was a .30, it was what I would consider high power. Needed a many section Huma to make it bearable. I hated how the gun looked and thought if I can just knock the sound down with a smaller mod for hunting season, I’d be happier. Then just leave the big dumb looking one on for home use. I took a couple sections out of the Huma, it looked better but was loud. Grabbed one of my Pugios because they are all caliber and was shocked. It was quieter than a long Huma. But my accuracy was crap. Whatever they have going on inside that thing really shines when you hit it with big power. But it messed with the accuracy on that gun. The reason I use them on two U2 compacts and a M3 compact .25 is because they do a good job and were accuracy winners.

Most of the time, i do not notice how loud the report is from my airguns since i am partially deaf.
Until recently, all my rifles have been .22 cal, but i recently got a .30 cal barrel for my Skout and this deaf guy can tell the difference
Boy is it loud with the standard moderator
I am looking into the Sarissa, but i do not know the difference in their cores and a little uncertain on the thread size
I Sent in an email to them and hope to get some more information to make the correct choice

Looks good on there! Yeah I know the Falx are good but I like short LDCs. To be honest haven't owned an LDC in years I prefer guns to be quiet on their own but for some reason I want the option for extra quiet in some situations

Well I guess you can say you like them lol. I've heard STO really shine on higher power guns so makes sense on the .30. That's weird on the accuracy issues though. Being both mine are .22 I doubt it'll cause any issues.
I highly doubt you’ll have an issue. I was really hitting that little thing hard with my .30. That gun also didn’t like the Falx either. But my other two .30’s do just fine with the Falx.

I love my Pugio. After bad experiences with my first 2 STOs and clipping, I never planned to get another. Someone here offered up a Pugio and Flax accipiter and I picked them up. Those two are my favorite options now (with about 5 or so current options and another 6-7 I have tried over the years).

The Pugio is often almost the same level of quietness as the Falx, often hard to tell much difference until the power level is massive. They both are usually the two quietest options in my arsenal too.

But the best part is that the two are both usually battling for best accuracy, which matters to me more than a tiny bit of noise that is hardly noticeable.

The Pugio is so light, short, quiet, and accurate. It is hard not to recommend it. Oh yeah… and the price is less than half of what many manufacturers are charging nowadays!!!

I use the STO Falx High Flow in my Epoch .30 and my Evo .22. I tried the Pugio but it was louder and adversely affected accuracy. Funny, since on my .25 Panthera Slugger I use the Pugio and it works great... For any of the Skout configurations, the Falx High Flow is highly recommended...

That’s what’s on my Skout .30. But I use a three section Huma on it when I’m shooting .22. Haven’t tested the Falx with the .22 yet.
