Stock making short cut

I have made a number of stocks and wrote a 6 part guest blog for Pyramyd Air to get people started making their own custom stock ( https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2019/03/diy-rifle-stock-part-6/ )

I one day want to make my own stock, something not ordinary, but I dread the amount of man hours that I know will have to go into it. Bless those such as yourself that partake!

I share that but I’d be far more worried I’d get well into it and make a mistake.

I guess it’s just not reasonable to expect perfection on a first attempt.

An idea for those of you who are interested in making a stock and are willing to sacrifice some quality for convenience. I'm just using two boards and routing out some parts so when I glue it later it forms the inlet
