So I just got this in, it was a combo package with scope not too shabby. Can't wait to see how it does. Has anyone ever messed with model ?

Yea I must say its actually a nice rifle . So far it's the typical mushy long travel on the trigger and I ran the chrony and so far I'm getting an average of 640 fps with some 14.3 grain pellets . I'll post some groups after I run a couple hundred through the barrel. It's a little noisy in the cocking effort but it seems they I mean Stoeger could do much better im sure. Only cause its spring powered. But no biggie I wasn't expecting too much for 230 bucks. However it seems to shoot pretty decent. I'll try to get some groups soon. For now it's about 13- 15 ft lb gun that's pretty safe to say. Once the barrel brakes in I'll get some pics of some groups and all.

Update, so after looking a little closer this Underlever system is in fact from China,no surprise. but I must say after taking a close look at the barrel it almost mirror like finish inside??? I'm hoping they took in consideration that since you can't really clean it they POLISHED the barrel so that it won't likely foul out. But either way it looks really decent, especially compared to Gamo. I tried a photo of the barrel but just can't seem to focus it correctly . I just dont have the equipment or software to "stack photos" as someone mentioned earlier to me. I downloaded some software but I'm going to need some time to figure it out. The trigger is 2 stage and adjustable and I noticed I was able to get another full turn and 1/8 so I'll test it out later. Also on the chronograph I was surprised on how consistent it was shooting I had like 4 or 5 repeats out of 10 and the deviation was only a 5. So far not too shabby.

I looked at the advertising for this airgun back in early 2018. The US distributor was looking at a September 2018 shipping time. Well, that came and went with nobody ever getting any more info on the gun. And now over a year later you were able to get one. I have a Stoeger Arms X20S2 model from PA. Got it for $99 back then. I shoot quite a bit and never had a problem. It likes the CPHP .177 pellets best. Does your gun have the breech detail that pops up for loading? I wondered how long that may last. Keep us informed of your experiences for this gun.

Yes It does, it's a solid chunk of metal that's for sure. I was taking a close look at it yesterday and was just looking at the way the setup works . When the Underlever is pulled down, towards the end of the stroke . It would simultaneously raise the block. Its machined pretty flat cause on the piston side is where the breach seal sits at. On the Forward side it has a milled out edge that acts as a stop when it is pushed back down. Someone mentioned it's kinda similar to an HW57 but I never seen that gun in person. Also there is no baffling on the end piece either, the barrel runs all the way to the end . I can't wait until I get slightly better weather here so I can take my time and see how well or not well, it shoots. But its amazingly comfortable to hold . I'll post a video real soon to show anyone that's intrested in this rifle. So far it looks promising or that "closet wonder shooter" we'll see soon. I'm actually gonna leave work early to just run some pellets down range to feel it out. Temps in the low 30s out here.

I still like this airgun. I see on the Stoeger website it sells for $199 less the scope and $249 with scope. I did not see it listed on any of the US airgun sellers. Can I ask how you bought it? It is cold here also... let us know how it groups at 25 yds when you can. Mine just has the single stage trigger so I had to do a bit of work on it to make the pull more acceptable.

I thought on first blush that might have been a Browning Leverage or Xisico XS46U in drag. Bot NOOOOOO! For an underlever fan boy me, that's an interesting possibility.

OP, please keep us...or at least me...informed of how it goes. I'm into accuracy over power...so much so that Motorhead tuned my magnum RWS 460 down to maybe 13-14 FPE. I ended up with a sweetheart of a rifle.

So here a couple more photos. I was gonna try for groups. But damn the wind and 34' degree temps were really putting a hamper on things. I went ahead and shot a few only cause I haven't really sighted in correctly. At first it was sending pellets all over the place @ 35 yards. Then the wind was blowing easily around 5-10mph. It was just not going to happen. HOWEVR when the wind slowed down it would seem to hit the previous hole I did earlier, then it would just wander off. Cheap scope? I think so. Cause sometimes it would drop them within less than inch. Then sometimes just wander off . So I decided to to check stock screws. Sure enough they were not even snug, they were hand loose. So when i snug them down i notice the wood stock was starting to stress. I stoped there and took a closer look on the inside where the screws mount and sure enough the wood was starting to fracture. I stopped there and sent an email to Stoeger since its covered by a 5 year warranty and asked if I can send them my stock for a replacement. Kept on shooting and so far it was still shooting straight however the wind was just really not working for me for now. But the gun is kinda loud there are no baffles in there so I figure that's pretty much it. As for the scope I'm gonna keep using it but I need a zero wind day to check its accuracy. I thought of using my basement though LOL .

I did a few shots but I returned the gun for warranty issues on the stock. There is a problem with the cocking lever pin not sitting flush. I fixed that with grinding it down a bit. But I'm taking caution not to tighten too much, but rather snug it down and use thread locker. ALSO I did chrony it with 14.3 grain pellets and it shoots way too slow fo my liking . Like 528 fps. Way to darn slow. Could be maybe the piston seal not perfectly round cause I did pull it out and saw a little deformation kinda like a flat spot on the seal. I dont know if this could cause issues with losing power? Anyone know about that?. However I had a gamo varmint spring laying around and it has like about 4 coils more that the stock spring and I stuck it in there and also got a 3mmx10 screw to replace the stock adjuster for trigger and it now breaks soooooooo much cleaner now . I'd recommend that for sure . However I've hadn't much time to sit down and give it the time yet to adjust and see how it performs let alone run the chronoy test. I might get my sony cam out today and try that and post the video today . I do have a couple videos on this rifle on YouTube now . You can check it out if you all like to. Search Stoeger F40 OR S6000A. . SHOULD pop up. But I've also got the deal of the Century with Cabelas, I bought a MARAUDER .25 CAL. LAST week for like 346 bucks ! I been kinda playing with this a little for now also.

UPDATE , SO after a couple mishaps I finally got to chrony it . On average I'm getting around 638 fps with a spread of around 8 . It's ok not perfect . But the spring is Simply underpowered. The predator GTO PELLETS I'm getting around 750fps but then again it's just too light for my liking . Either way the snow&wind has prevented me from going out to shoot for groups but no biggie . This will give me time to break in the rifle .
